INCENTIVE: Currently, multiple people in the town of Beacon Hills have been taken by the Ghost Riders. Once taken by these supernatural creatures, the people will eventually be forgotten by those they left behind, as if they never existed at all. Malia's incentive is to return everyone lost back home. This especially includes Stiles, whom she'd forgotten and had been struggling to gather back her memories of him. As an addition to her prior request, she'd also ask that her memories of Stiles return.


FIT: Malia has no qualms with physical engagements. Having been a coyote for years, she tends to have the survival instincts of an animal; therefore, the idea that physical contact is a necessity for the city to survive will be something she can easily come to understand and proceed with. She'd also previously been in a relationship with Stiles Stilinski in which she gradually grew accustomed to the comfort of physical closeness, developing a habit of cuddling and holding each other close as they slept. This came primarily due to the fact that without her fur, she was more easily susceptible to becoming cold and often needed warmth. After her breakup with Stiles, she still found herself falling into casual intimacy without the emotional attachment, which also shows that this aspect wouldn't be a difficult act for her.
CONSENT: The idea of consent had once been a difficult thing for Malia to understand. This is because, at the age of nine, she'd gotten into a car accident which triggered her transformation into a coyote which in turn caused her to kill her mother and sister in her uncontrolled state. She remained a coyote for eight years during which she had developed more animalistic habits and instincts for survival. Upon her return to being a human, she, at times, felt no guilt over the idea of things such as kidnapping or leaving someone for dead. However, her time spent with Stiles and her other friends eventually taught her more about the importance of human morality which she stands by now in her current state of mind, more so than her coyote instincts.

[ She can still feel the cold on her skin, the way her body tries to repair itself with newfound warmth. She was never very good at getting that on her own; ever since she'd fallen back within human skin, her body temperature was always too low, constantly needing to stand beneath a scolding shower to find some level of comfort. It hadn't always been like that, she thinks. She recalls a body of warmth sliding against her, her chest pressed tightly against a solid back. It always warmed her somehow, more so than anything else.

All Malia feels now is the lingering shiver from her time in the cooling chamber. She'd hoped the low temperatures would help trigger the lost memories, like they'd been so close to doing for Scott, convinced she'd last longer in there than he could. Yet it hadn't helped. Not enough of the memories came back.

But there's another option. Tightening the heavy blanket more tightly around her shoulders, she looks at the woman who tells her the conditions, that if she contributed her part, she could be granted an incentive in return. Malia was never good at trusting. That was always Scott's thing. But Scott wasn't here. It was up to her. ]

You'd help me remember Stiles? [ She squints with a frown, hearing further talk about how any wishes could be granted as long as consent was never broken. In her own mind, it's a bit of a stretch. It shouldn't be this easy. There had to be other methods to getting Stiles and the rest of them back without resorting to these methods. She was confident they'd find a way, because they always did. As long as Scott was here, leading the pack, they'd stick together and figure it out eventually.

Except time was running out. They were the only ones left —

She sighs, a cloud of white escaping her lips. Still cold, she realizes. ] Alright, yeah. I can do it. Probably. [ She shakes her head. This was too serious to take lightly. Maybe she should talk to the others, maybe she should reconsider. No, there was no time. ] I mean, yeah. I'll take the deal.

ANYTHING ELSE? Malia is a werecoyote. Because of this, she shares many similarities with the werewolves of the canon, in which she can has enhanced strength and speed, can do partial transformations that allow her to remain mostly in human form while forming claws and fangs, and can sometimes lose control under a full moon. Malia herself also has the ability to do full transformations into a coyote.
